Unveiling Tamsin’s Journey

Origins and Awakening

Origins and Awakening

Singer/songwriter Tamsin is an introspective and grounded artist who shares her innermost thoughts with a sweet touch in her deep, emotive pop music. Originally born on the outskirts of London, Tamsin moved to the northwestern suburbs of Sydney, Australia, at the age of 10. Immediately after moving, she began formal vocal training, nurturing a talent that would soon propel her into the world of music. By the time she was 16, she was already paving her way in the industry, demonstrating both passion and discipline from an early age.

Breakthroughs and Spotlight

Breakthroughs and Spotlight

At 18, Tamsin performed to an audience of over 70,000 people in ANZ Stadium with Delta Goodrem as part of her children’s choir at the Fire Fight Australia concert. She also graced the stage at the NSW Business Awards alongside Mitch Tambo and choir, delivering a memorable performance of “You’re the Voice” in native tongue at just 17. While she is the main vocalist on numerous international tracks by OMNIVI3E and Crosscut Collective, Tamsin also released her independent single “Shadow” during the COVID-19 Sydney lockdown, followed by two successive singles and an EP called “Philophobia.” Her songwriting talent was recognized globally when she won the ‘Unpublished’ category in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) for her song “SOS,” making her one of the elite 1% out of more than 26,000 applicants. Tamsin’s track “All My Fault” earned first place and the Motivation Award in the Great Southern Song Competition, as well as finalist and runner-up status in the 2022 Unsigned Only Competition. Both of these award-winning songs are available for streaming now.

Craft, Community, and Beyond

Craft, Community, and Beyond

Writing music since she was 16, Tamsin fully immerses herself in her craft, renowned for her ability to topline extremely quickly—she can compose fully produced songs within an hour when working with a producer. Her creative output is prolific, with a catalogue boasting over 85 demos to date, often exploring the complexities of relationships—be they romantic, friendly, or familial—and expressing universal sentiments that are rarely discussed openly. Beyond music, Tamsin’s passion extends to the gaming world: she recently secured a song placement in the horror co-op game Labyrinthine and is an active Twitch streamer, entertaining audiences every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday with horror, survival, and cozy games. She thrives on keeping busy, noting that an active schedule helps her stay productive and inspired: “I find when I’m not busy, I become unproductive and tend to fall into a hole of laziness, so I find the days that I’m busiest are the best. The more there is to do in a day, the better!”
